The witness of the Resurrection

There are many people who say that they would commit their life to the Lord fully only if they knew the Will of God and they continue to wait and wait and wait.

A driver waits for the green light from the traffic signal at the intersection. The driver sees the traffic signal changes to green, but the driver is not moving forward, because he is waiting until he receives the conviction to move from other sources.

Do you really want to know the Will of God in your life?

Then look no further, just pay attention to the Words of God.

Our Lord encourages us with His Word.

II Peter 1:19,

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Lots of times people tend to believe that when they actually hear the voice of God it will be done in very special and unusual ways. But we have to remember that the Word of God is in our hands that God want us to pay attention to Him at all times.

It's not always that we hear the audible voice of God because of various reasons and that is the very reason why God gave us His Word in our hands.

Also God uses pastors and cell leaders to release His Heart through sermon and teachings during the fellowship through each one of you.

The Word of God is easy to hear His Voice at any time.

I believe that God speaks to you when you accept His Word with your open heart.

I encourage you to hear the Bible, read the Bible, study the Bible, memorize the Bible and meditate the Bible.

The Bible is all you need, and the secret things in heaven are in the Bible. The Bible is the Living Word of God.

I. The Heart of God

At the end of Jesus' Time, the leaders of Israel tried to arrest Jesus under their judiciary system by trying to trap Jesus in legal issues with the sole intention of killing Him.

Jesus released the great revelation of God's Heart toward His People and for all of us while these Israel leaders attempted of killing Jesus.

The case of taxes by Pharisees to trap Him in the political issue

Mark 12:13-17

"Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

The case of marriage and resurrection by Sadducees – to trap Him of the spiritual issue

Mark 12:18-27

"He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living."

"Therefore you do greatly err."

The case of the Commandments by Scribes (lawyer) – to trap Him of the religious legal issue

Matthew 22:37-40

³⁷ Jesus said unto him, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

³⁸ This is the First and Great Commandment.

³⁹ And the Second is like unto it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

⁴⁰ On these two Commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Mark 12:28-34

Only one Scribe understood Jesus' teaching

"You art not far from the kingdom of God."

Very rarely Jesus ever encouraged Scribes their faith throughout the Gospel, but this person was encouraged by Jesus at this time meaning how important it is to know the Heart of God.

Matthew 22:40

"On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Jesus clearly exposed the Heart of our Father God to the public.

Jesus said, "All the law and the prophets."

It means that every word of each law and every word in prophesy of each prophet contains God's Heart.

In other words, all of the law exists and prophets prophesied to express Heart of our Father God toward us, main Heart of our Father God toward us.

Jesus gave the new assignment on how to love the Lord our God and to love our neighbor throughout the rest of the Disciples' life in detail.

II. How to fulfill these Two Commandments

Mark 16:15-16

¹⁵ And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

¹⁶ "He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who does not believe shall be damned.

Jesus restored Peter to this Heart of God for 3 times. John 21:

The meaning of these 3 times in the Bible

Simon, son of Jonas, do you love Me more than these?

He said unto Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You."

He said unto him, "Feed My Lambs (Sheep)."

Jesus first assignment to Peter – Lambs

Jesus second & third assignment to Peter – Sheep

Lamb – younger than 1 year – care for the young ones

Sheep – group of livestock with all ages – multiplication

Loving the Lord is required to feed Jesus' Lamb and Sheep who are our neighbors

The very night just before Jesus was arrested, He had the Last Supper with His Disciples, and then on the way to the Garden of the Gethsemane. He chose them and confirmed them for the special purpose through the teaching of the relationship between vine and the branches.

John 15:16

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it you.

After Jesus had encountered with His Disciples He reconfirmed for their calling and gave the new assignment for the rest of their lives.

1. Reach out the Lost

"Go into all the world"

The Lord wants us to go first.

God calls us to go to the nations and every culture and human society.

This is the calling of every Christian.

This is our purpose of life on earth.

Matthew 28:19

1) Go and make disciples of all the nations (NASV)

2) Go and teach all nations (KJV)

Where do we have to go? Our destiny is into the entire world.

But we have to start from the place where we are right now.

Acts 1:8

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Our first step is Jerusalem (my family, my friends, my neighbor, my work place, school) Judea (cities and counties), Samaria (the place you do not want to deal with)¡¦ and to the end of the world.

If there is anyone in your family who do not know Jesus Christ yet, then they need Jesus Christ for their salvation. We need to reach out to them first. We have to see our family come to the Lord and be saved. They will be fallen to the eternal judgment in hell if they do not have Jesus in their life.

Let's lift up their name to the Lord right now and intercede for them now.

Also we have to move on to reach out continually outside of family who need Jesus.

Some people complain that we have too many churches in Orange County, but we need to have the harvest laborers in this Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and all over the country to the nations.

Let's start praying for the lost from now on.

Here is the practical practice. – The prayer of three

Let's choose 3 people who do not know Jesus from your family, or you can choose any one close to you who do not know Jesus. During this December pray for these people for the salvation together.

Prayer

1.	Lift this person up to the Lord
2.	Against satan who captured this person
3.	Ask the Holy Spirit to prepare the person's heart to receive Jesus.
4.	Ask the Lord His Love pour out to this person,
4.	and let him have hunger for the Lord.
5.	Ask the Lord to use you to bring this person to the Lord.

2. Share the Gospel

"preach the gospel to every creature."

We need to have a chance to share the gospel to the lost.

Our main message is the Gospel for the people.

Then what is the Gospel?

I Corinthian 15:3-4

³ For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures;

⁴ And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:

We are called to be witnesses for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ to the world.

Acts 1:8

Here is the practical practice for sharing – Prayer of Three

When you start to pray for them (3 people) – let them know your love and prayer

The end of 1^st week – contact them by phone how they are doing

The end of 2^nd week – contact them to make appointment to meet together on third week

During the 3^rd week – meet together to have a tea time, lunch or dinner together to spend some time together

During the 4^th week – share the Gospel to the person directly

Please do not forget to pray continually.

3. Convert them

He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who does not believe shall be damned.

Whoever heard the Gospel needs to be done in 2 distinguishable matters.

1. He has to believe in Jesus – genuine heart to accept Jesus

2. He has to baptize – public confession even to a point to accept the deadly persecution for Jesus. Then there is salvation. Otherwise there is no salvation, but condemnation.

This is the promise of God. Only who believe in Jesus will be saved, otherwise there is no salvation and only condemnation. Share the Gospel to their heart, lead them to confess from their sin and encourage them to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and the Lord in their life.

The Baptism is not the condition of salvation, but the baptism is the strong expression of their testimony to commit to Jesus. It means that they believe in Jesus Christ seriously for their life. Also they do not go back to the old way of life any more.

So it is important to receive the water baptism in the public, because it is my testimony to die with Christ physically when our body is buried in water and we are resurrected with Jesus' Resurrection when we are lifted out from the water.

Not only during Baptism of the Holy Spirit but during the water baptism as well, it is possible for us to experience the deliverance and healing.

I have witnessed that a person who had MS, multiple sclerosis, is healed by God instantly during or right after the water baptism. 1 year after the healing her doctor confirmed that she does not have MS any more.

So the enemy's legal ground does no longer stand or exists in their life.

We have to make sure their confession is genuine and their commitment is true.

If you did not receive that water baptism, pleas let us know, so we can celebrate to baptize you to the Lord as One Glory Church together.

4. Make disciples of them

We should not stop here, because the real inheritance is coming after this point.

John 21:15-17

^{Jn 21:15} … Feed my lambs.

^{Jn 21:16} … Feed my sheep.

^{Jn 21:17} … Feed my sheep.

Jesus gave the first assignment to Peter to feed Jesus' Lamb, because this young lambs needs a lot of cares in their life, and they will be protected and growing up continually and are going to be a mature.

Jesus gave the second assignment to Peter to feed Jesus' Sheep, because the lambs are grown and become adults, and they still need to be fed by Peter.

Jesus gave the third assignment to Peter to feed Jesus' Sheep, because the lambs will be grown, is become adults and will reproduce lambs. They are to keep multiplying their own kinds.

That is why Jesus gave all of His Disciples the new assignment.

Matthew 28:19-20

¹⁹ "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

²⁰ teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

We have to be a disciple first, and then we can disciple other.

III. Our Authority and Power

Mark 16:17-18

¹⁷ And these signs shall follow them who believe; they shall cast out devils in My Name; they shall speak with new tongues;

¹⁸ They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

These signs will accompany those who have believed:

1) In My Name they will cast out demons,

2) They will speak with new tongues;

3) They will pick up serpents, it will not hurt them

4) If they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them;

5) They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

How many believers do we have here?

Do you believe that Jesus is talking to you right now?

Only in Jesus' name the signs will follow, because it is for the Lord Jesus Christ alone, and He is the only One to be Glorified.

This sign will be followed through the people who have believed in Jesus, not only certain pastors or revivalists, but all the Christians.

The devil is threatened by our moving, because we are the army of God to rise and to destroy the kingdom of our enemy. That is why the enemy tried to attack us in many different ways, but they cannot do anything without our Father God's permission.

Our Father God is the only one who reigns over all, and satan is under His Control.

We have this authority and the power from the Lord, so we need to move forward by faith and reach out to the people.

I really want to see crying out to the Lord among in our One Glory Church to excel this authority and the power, and the Glory of the Lord flow through One Glory Church and each one of your personal life.

Let's exercise our authority and the power our physical body for the healing now.

Healing ministry

From now on let's move on to pray for the sick and prophesy to the people whenever God gives us chance to reach out people. Let's move on to the sick people with the Lord's Guide.

Some times we have fear to be hurt or to be in danger when we move on the power of the Holy Spirit, but God always protects us from the harm.

According to a testimony from one of missionaries, she preached the Gospel to so many people in Africa, and the group of the devil tried to kill her by using a cooker to poison her food. There were some people who warned her not to eat, but she blessed the food and ate. They expected that she might vomit some blood and die, but she was perfectly fine everyday.

We should not have any fear when you are under God's anointing and follow His Will.

We are the witnesses of the Resurrection of Jesus who is the Living God.

Conclusion

We have the Word of God in our hands.

Would you lift up your Bible above your head and wave it to the Lord as a wave offering.

We have two sections of this Bible:

The Old Testament and the New Testament

The meaning of the word "Testament"

1. Covenant between God and man

2. Will; written instruction telling what to do with a person's property after his death.

As a covenant between God and you

Old Testament – God will send the Messiah for you to be saved

New Testament – The Messiah came and He will come again for you to restore 100%.

Hebrews 10:16 - from Jeremiah 31:

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, said the Lord, "I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;"

All of the Word of God, every single Word, is the written as a covenant that no one can break between God and you.

God gave you His Personal Written Covenant with His Great Love toward you in your hands personally, because you are His Chosen Sons and Daughters.

He will fulfill His Covenant in your life fully.

As His Will for you

My wife and I filed the will for our children.

Our children will be guaranteed to receive our possessions according to our legal will when we die. They cannot possess any of our possession when we are still alive, but they will receive their inheritance from us when we are no longer on earth.

Hebrews 9:16-17

¹⁶ For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

¹⁷ For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator lives.

Because Jesus died for us we have received all of His Inheritance.

His Will is effecting in every area of our life now because of His Sacrificial Cost for you. He is no longer dead, but living with us, so we have His Inheritance with Him now and forever.

The Great Commission does not force us to work for the evangelism, but it is the inheritance of the Lord for us.

Let's reach out to the Lost who belongs to the Lord together from this month until our Lord Comes.

Luke 12:32

Fear not, little flock (One Glory Church); for it is your Father's Good Pleasure to give you the Kingdom.
