The Cell Vision

We shared about the faith of the vision and the power of the vision for our life last week.

So it is very important to have the vision in our life from the Lord

I. The Importance of the Vision for our destiny

Proverb 29:18

Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained,

But happy is he who keeps the law. (NASB)

Where there is no revelation (prophetic vision), the people cast off restraint;

But blessed (Happy) is he who keeps the law. (NIV) (NKJV)

Where there is ignorance of God, the people run wild;

But what a wonderful thing it is for a nation to know and keep His laws. (Living Bible)

1. The meaning of each word

1) Vision = Revelation, Prophetic vision, knowing God

2) Cast off Restraint = wild, lawless, wicked action, no fear of God, out of control,

3) Happy = Blessed: related action of the law that is God's word

4) Keep = not only obedience, but also the word is alive in us by the Holy Spirit.

2. The vision comes from the Lord.

We all take the prophetic word very seriously. We receive the prophetic word very carefully, and keep it until it comes to pass in our life.

Many people want to receive the prophetic word from the prophets, so we attend the conferences or take the travel to take the course, and also invest our time, energy, and money to receive it… It is a good desire to hear from the Lord.

Why do we want to hear the prophetic word from the Lord?

What is the main reason for?

We want to know God's plan and promises for our life.
We want to follow God's will only and to receive the reward from the Lord.
We want to accomplish God's will fully throughout our life.

These are all come from God's heart.

Then we need to understand God's heart.

II. God's Heart

We cannot understand the Lord's heart until we enter the Lord's secret room and increase the intimate relationship with Him.

1. The Lord's invitation for the intimate relationship

John 17:3

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

The Lord gave us the privilege to know Father God and Jesus Christ our Lord.

So we can understand the Lord's heart through the intimate relationship with the Lord.

The Lord wants us to be ONE with Him, so we need to be one with the Lord.

The Lord's image will be reflected to other from us when we become ONE with Him.

So how can we enter to this intimate relationship with Him

1) Set a time to spend the time with the Lord daily

Mark 1:35

In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.

My son, David, is fall in love with his fiancé, Drexelle. Everyday they meet together and spend time as much as they could. So I see them together everyday, because they love each other. They share their hearts each other, so they are getting to know each other better and better everyday.

You want to spend time with the Lord eagerly more and more daily if you fall in love with the Lord. Then we will understand the Lord's heart better and better everyday too.

2) Without ceasing prayer under His presence

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Pray without ceasing;

We were taught about the prayer so many times throughout your Christian life.

I would like to challenge you about this area.

Are you really praying without ceasing everyday?

"Without ceasing" means that it is like a breath in every moment.

You can still survive many days without food, but you cannot survive at all if you do not breathe more than 3 - 5 minutes.

If we do not pray, then we are dying. Our life should be in prayer fully under His presence every moment.

What do you do when you are upset?

Prayer is not just only talking to the Lord, but also to waiting to hear the Lord.

We have to learn how to listen also when we speak to the Lord.

Through this listening prayer you can understand the Lord's heart.

A few days ago, I prayed to the Lord continually same thing over again, and also I complaint to the Lord why He did not answer my prayer. Suddenly God spoke to me, "Stop asking Me over and over again, and you have to wait to listen what I am going to talk to you."

3) Worship and praising in His Throne Room

Psalm 22:3

Yet You are holy,

O You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel.

The Lord dwells in your worship and praise. The Lord will come into your worship and praise when you worship Him.

You will experience the Lord deeply when you worship the Lord continually.

When you worship, please do not focus on the worship team, or anything else, but only the Lord.

You will be lost about where you are and your surrounding when you are in His Throne Room with worship and praise. You can be in deeper relationship through the worship and praise.

2. From the Word of God

Let's meditate God's heart through the Word of God.

1) God's original plan in His Heart

Genesis 1:28

God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

God's plan for us is to raise many children and fill the earth with our children, and also subdue the world and dominate everything on earth.

God's plan for us is

1. Fill the earth with His Children

2. Rule over the earth for the spiritual realm and the natural realm

2) One vision of God

John 3:17

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

God's vision is to save the people from the eternal destruction for the entire global world.

That is why God's vision is started by sending Jesus Christ for the salvation, and to reach out the entire world through Jesus, One Man.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

And now God wants to start this Salvation from you, because Jesus' salvation is reached to you.

You might think that you are not an evangelist, and maybe it is true or maybe it is not true.

You have a capacity to evangelize if you love people and desire to minister to other people.

3) Jesus' Disciples and His teaching

(1) Started with His 12 Disciples – (Matthew 10:2-4, Mark 3:16-19)

Matthew 28:18-20

¹⁸ And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

¹⁹ "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

²⁰ teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

(2) His Teaching: Parables

a) the Parable of sowing seed

Matthew 13:8-9

⁸ "And others fell on the good soil and ^*yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.

⁹ "He who has ears, let him hear."

b) The Parable of Talent (Matthew 25:14-30)

5 Talents – Multiplied 2 times (10 Talents)

2 Talents – Multiplied 2 times (4 Talents)

1 Talents – no multiplication

c) The Parable of Mina (Luke 19:11-27)

1 Mina – Multiplied 10 times

1 Mina – Multiplied 5 times

1 Mina – no multiplication

d) The Parables of the mustard seed and the leavened flour

Also we could see the massive multiplication from the mustard seed parable and leavened flour (Mathew 13:31-33)

These teachings are teaching about the multiplication.

The Lord wants us to multiply that what we have from the Lord for His Kingdom.

Genesis 1:28

III. Catch the God's Vision in our heart

According to God's heart and His Vision is to reach out the lost to the Kingdom of God for the eternal salvation. We've heard about it so many times, but it is your real vision or accepted it as one kind of teaching in your heart.

If we love the Lord, then we love our neighbor. There are so many people dying every where right now in physically and spiritually everyday.

Do you want to have a heart to carry the God's heart that He focuses on?

Let's be one with our Lord.

1. The hindrance of the vision of the Lord

1) Regarding

the past as the only sufficient solution for the present and the future.

2) Thinking

that God can only work in the present the same way He did in the past.

3) Limiting

God's actions to humans' hopes, philosophies, and perspectives.

We have to sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and see the new things what God is doing among us.

Those concept mind set that was built up so many years in person's life, in community or in the society is known as the stronghold through 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,

⁴ for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses (stronghold).

⁵ We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, ⁶ and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.

The speculation and lofty thing are built up in us and the society, and that speculation and the lofty thing are against the knowledge of God, so our fighting is not against the flesh and blood, but the stronghold that is in us or in society. The stronghold against the truth of the Lord, deceives all of us to disconnect from the Lord. And this stronghold is not just our mind set alone, but it was built up for many years by satan through his deception. That is our battle ground, so we have to capture every single thought and bring to the obedience of Christ.

We have to break this stronghold that is in us and control the community or society, because this is the major hindrance to see God's heart.

2. We have to understand the importance of the individual

Psalm 139:14

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.

You are the most important person (MIP) to the Lord, and you are very unique person to the Lord.

You do not need to mimic anyone at all. God loves you as who you are. God created you as a unique person.

Romans 5:19

For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.

According to this word,

I can change the history for His Kingdom if I obey the Lord,

Or I can change the history for satan's kingdom if I disobey the Lord.

So your individual life is so important to the Lord, which is why He paid His life for each of us.

3. The First Church

120 (Acts 1:15) – +3000 (Acts2:41) – +5000 (Acts 4:4) – +Multitudes (Acts 5:14)

Jesus raised the 12 disciples from the beginning.

The first Church

Acts 2:46

Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,

Acts 5:42

And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

Acts 20:20

how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly and from house to house,

They had a meeting continually everyday from house to house, so we could see their ministry life was full of fellowship in house everyday and the temple for the public meeting once in a week.

Through this from house to house ministry (Cell Ministry) we could find 3 truths.

1) The true fellowship in spiritually and naturally.

2) Preaching the Gospel.

3) Teaching, equipping, discipling and sending

Jerusalem was exploded by the Gospel by the Holy Spirit, and after that, the Gospel exploded all over the countries by Disciples who are the Apostles.

4. Today's Churches

1) David Yonggi Cho

Korea (the first-largest church in the world) – 750,000 members

2) Mario Vega

San Salvador (second-largest church in the world) – one year 10,000 –

now 11,000 Cell Groups and 111,000 people attending the Cell Groups

3) Cesar Castellanos

Colombia – 2003 (more than 40,000 Cell Groups)

There are many other mega churches are around the world, and these churches are not just huge numbers, but these churches are alive and have powerful impact to the society to bring the transformation.

Most of these churches are Cell-based churches.

Cell-based church means building up the church through the disciple making ministry.

Each cell put together and this becomes a body.

Each of us is a cell of the Body of Christ, so each cell is very important to build up the body. Each cell start from one, and multiply 2, 4,8,16“,

This is a form of life that God created from the beginning, so the body of Christ is the same type of form of life.

5. Vision of Jesus' 12

The vision of Jesus' 12 is my version that is known as G-12.

The Goal of this vision for individual is to raise 12 disciples

And each of this 12 disciples' goal is to raise his/her own 12 disciples as below.

12 – 144 – 1728 – 20736 – 248832 ------

Goal is to make 12 disciples for each leader

Continually multiplying Cells and Disciples

This vision consists of four steps that we call "The Stairway to Success."

We believe these steps to be God's strategy for revival in any country.

1) Win

Personal evangelism through the Cell Group or Celebration Services

2) Consolidate

Through the Encounter and through participation in Cell Group

3) Disciple (discipline)

Through the Leadership School, through participation in 12 Cell Groups,

And thorough leading their own Multiplication Cells

4) Send

Begin to lead their own 12 Disciples (144 Cells) – their own team for Encounter Leadership Schools, and/or implement this vision in other cities, states or nations once they are appointed

6. One Glory Church

Our One Glory Church is the Cell-Based Church. That is our direction that God called us to do.

Our model is Jesus' 12 Disciples ministry.

We are going to follow the Lord's model continually until our Lord Jesus comes, so we need to commit our life to start this ministry.

Many churches want to adopt this vision; however, they are not successful in this ministry. I found the several reasons that I could see, but I am still learning about it and researching it.

We are just in the beginning stage of this ministry, so I could not say much, but we have to see the facts and possibilities.

My observation about this ministry

1) We have to have the conviction of this vision.

2) We have to commit to this vision faithfully until it happened.

3) We have to fully equip for this ministry, not mimicking.

4) We have to break through every hindrance.

5) We have to pay the price.

6) We have to finish the race to receive the reward.

These are all based on walk by faith and follow only the Holy Spirit, and focus on Jesus Christ.

We can do nothing with our own strength and with our power, but only can with the Holy Spirit.

Zechariah 4:6

Then he (angel) said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ' Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts.

Are you willing to give your life to the Lord fully and follow Him until Jesus comes?

Isaiah 6:8

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

God is calling you right now.

Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

The Fruit of Evangelism

I Thessalonians 2:19-20

¹⁹ For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?

²⁰ For you are our glory and joy.

The fruit of Disciples

Philippians 4:1

Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends!

Challenge

John 15:6

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.

Ezekiel 3:17-19

¹⁷ "Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me.

¹⁸ "When I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

¹⁹ "Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself.

John 15:16

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
