II. Holy Anointing Oil

A. What is the Holy Anointing Oil?

This anointing oil is oil whose purpose is serving God with consecration, separation, and dedication.

We really need this anointing in our life.

1. Instruction to make this Holy Anointing Oil

²³ “Take you also unto you principal spices, of pure myrrh 500 shekels,

and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even 250 shekels,

and of sweet calamus 250 shekels,

²⁴ And of cassia 500 shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary,

and of oil olive an hin:

²⁵ And you shall make it an Oil of Holy Ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be a Holy Anointing Oil.

This oil is made only in certain way according to God’s instruction

Take the best species

· Pure myrrh – 500 shekels (200 oz)

· Sweet cinnamon – 250 shekels (100 oz)

· Sweet calamus – 250 shekels (100 oz)

· Cassia – 500 shekels (200 oz)

· Pure Olive Oil – 1 hin (1 gallon)

Principal (the finest, the best) spices

Needed the certain measure and weight

2. Anoint on the furniture of the tabernacle with it

²⁶ “With it you shall anoint the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony,

²⁷ and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense,

²⁸ and the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand.

²⁹ “You shall also consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them shall be holy.

It is required to intensify for the consecration, separation and dedication to serve the Lord.

Whenever this anointing oil touches, the things become holy.

Anything will be possession of the Holy God whenever it is touched, and ready to be used for the Lord.

Supernatural, sacred, separation

This anointing is the divine design to help us for the facilitate flow.

Everything will be holy and has the purpose and the destiny.

3. Anoint the priests with this Holy Anointing Oil

³⁰ “ You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister as priests to Me.

It is required to intensify the consecration, separation and dedication to serve the Lord.

The transition time and personal most position will be assigned for the Most High God.

4. Generational covenant

³¹ “You shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘This shall be a Holy Anointing Oil to Me throughout your generations.

This Holy Anointing Oil is to keep throughout the generations.

Everything will be gone, but this anointing shall be in existence forever even if all systems are abolished including the sacrificial system, priests system.

Example) Israel 2 kingdoms (Judah Kingdom and Israel Kingdom)

Israel Kingdom was abolished by their sins. No more Israel kingdom existed after the last king of Israel.

Judah kingdom was abolished later by their sin too, but the Messianic line was continually passed on to Jesus even there was no Kingdom of Judah.

It is the transcendence time.

5. Forbidden rules

³² ‘It shall not be poured on anyone’s body, nor shall you make any like it in the same proportions; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you.

³³ ‘Whoever shall mix any like it or whoever puts any of it on a layman shall be cut off from his people.’ ”

Never to be duplicated

Forbidden to make even something similar

Anoint this Oil on the certain people only

B. The power of this anointing of your life

Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me; because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

How to flow this anointing in your life

The Holy Spirit is coming on you

The anointing is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and the impartation.

This anointing has to do with consecration, dedication, separation for the service of the Lord. Also this anointing is higher anointing.

We have to be drenched by the Holy Spirit, not quench Him.

1. The Head, not the tail

Exodus 30:23a

Take also for yourself the finest (principal) of spices: …

The finest (principle) spices: Rosh has various meaning. The meaning of Rosh: Head

Rosh shana: head of year

The Power of Body is to be the Head, but not the tail.

Meaning: it is not a generic – Hebrew concept it does not exist

The Head of your enemy (King of Israel) (Psalm 23)

David was treated as the lower level, rejection, degraded and disposition from the family.

David wrote Psalm 23 oil as head Rosh King of Israel

When you want to be a head, then we have to willing to pay the price like as David paid the tremendous price of his life.

2. The Perfection

Meaning of perfect – excellent, the Spirit of Excellent

We can see the anointing through the principle of perfection.

We can see the perfection and the excellent through this person’s life.

If this anointing is on him, his life is full of perfection of the excellence.

The excellence will show and manifest in his life, and we can see the sign he has the anointing on him or not.

We have to come up to the level.

Psalm 141:5

Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

Correction and the instruction could bring the heart of pursuing God.

Only the correction – there is no change to pursue the Lord

We should not stay in the neutral, but excellent.

3. The Protocol

Exodus 30:25-29

²⁵ “You shall make of these a Holy Anointing Oil, a perfume mixture, the work of a perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil.

²⁶ “With it you shall anoint the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony,

²⁷ and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense,

²⁸ and the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand.

²⁹ “You shall also consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them shall be holy.

The protocol is the system

Work in the power in protocol.

The listing was listed in priority, which is the divine order.

We may have the anointing, but it could be blocked or maybe not even activated yet.

It is needed to be measured to activate the anointing.

Every list in order has very particular reason communicate for the oil.

So we have to recognize the protocol.

4) The Personal Possession

Exodus 30:31-32

³¹ “You shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘This shall be a Holy Anointing Oil to Me throughout your generations.

³² ‘It shall not be poured on anyone’s body, nor shall you make any like it in the same proportions; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you.

This is not a kind of healing, but we are going to be a Personal Property of the Holy spirit.

I am not any more mine, but the Holy Spirit’s.

5) The Purity

Exodus 30:33

³³ ‘ Whoever shall mix any like it or whoever puts any of it on a layman (stranger) shall be cut off from his people.’ ”

Layman or stranger does not mean foreigner or gentile.

It means that adulterer or prostitute.

The adultery cannot be put into the altar or ministry.

God will not use them at all.

The strange fire is not the Holy Spirit, but it is the prostitute fire.

We have to be careful about strangers in church, because they all look holy, but it is not holy and not from the Holy Spirit at all.

Galatians 5:19-21

¹⁹ Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,

²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,

²¹ envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Conclusion

Today we need to receive the anointing.

I Peter 2:9

But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

It is time we need to commit to the Lord and serve the Lord.
